A Bariatric Stretcher Transport Service uses a Gurney which is similar to a stretcher, but unlike a stretcher, a Gurney can be folded, and often has wheels. Gurneys are used to transport people who are tied to a bed, and they stay on the Gurney for the duration of the transport, as moving them from bed to bed can be dangerous to their health.
